Our Story
OMIXIS was born from a simple observation: organizations need AI systems they can actually own and control. Too many vendors, too little accountability, too much data leaving the building.
We started where the data is most sensitive — bioinformatics. Building genomic pipelines and AI systems for research institutions taught us that production-grade infrastructure and data sovereignty aren't optional.
Today we apply that same rigor to personalized medicine — building systems that turn genomes, clinical data, and scientific literature into care that's actionable, evidence-based, and personal.

Kamen is a bioinformatics engineer and AI infrastructure builder. He founded OMIXIS in 2025 to combine the work he does best: writing code, designing genomics pipelines, building MLOps systems, and training and fine-tuning AI models — engineered to actually run in production.
